[17/05/2024] No More “Beef” – We Are Muslims! – By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:
- A serious threat to those who search for the shortcomings of their brothers [and sisters].
- Ibn ‘Umar (رضى الله عنهما) on how great and beloved the honour of a believer is with Allāh.
- Allāh’s address to those who are entering into Islām.
- The example of ‘Amr b. al-‘Āṣ (رضى الله عنه) and how wholeheartedly and sincerely entering into Islām changes a person.
- The impermissibility of harming one another.
- The prohibition of differing and disputing.
- The rules of the road vs that of Islām.
- The reward on the Day of Judgement for the one who refrained from fighting his Muslim brother.
- The impermissibility of raising weapons towards the Muslims.
- That which is greater in rank than fasting, praying and giving charity.
- The only thing that will help us get salvation from Fire.
